注解：
[1] 詩句 ： 指聖經的內容
[2]世界觀：指美國地區大多相信的信仰基督教，並認為人的起源為聖經創世紀中的亞當和夏娃
[3]spoon feed：中文即為填鴨式教育(注入式教學法)，喻機械式地對對象灌輸知識，而忽略對象對知識的運用及自我思考
[4]英文歌詞原指的是嬰兒，我譯為鴨子則會比較貼近spoon feed的中文意思
[5]非正方形而是圓形：喻永無盡頭，永無休止，永遠無法完成，只能如圓形般團團轉著無終點
歌詞涉及到神的存在 亦表達出歌手心中對神的予盾
一方面希望神是存在 一方面被理性告知神不存在
同時他也希望自己相信神的存在 然而他很難去相信 因為他見證現實的殘酷 加上科學的掘起
我對歌手的想法很有同感 我相信信仰能成為人的依靠 當然也能摧毀人生
在現實的環境之中 相信一些不可見的東西不容易
我也希望神是存在 世界可以藉神而美好 不過內心告訴我沒有神 即使有也不會是我所期望的神
我不能欺騙自己 告訴自己神是存在 所以中學時期被學校的宗教氣息浸淫下曾經有過信仰一陣子 但最後還是回歸了無神論
信則有 不信則無
我不是要批評任何宗教 只是想說 有信仰的人要有自己的判斷
如果僅僅是因為信就接受經書上的誡條 接受它受諸的價值觀而行事 欠缺自己思考 這就會變成迷信 盲目的相信
世界有神與否 經書都是由當時的人寫而已 人不是完美 更難說當時的人是否有私心或其他目的而編寫或改編這些經書
所以一定要加入自己判斷 不要別人說什麼就當真
